Our Story

Details Soft Wash Service offers high quality soft washing services for commercial, industrial and residential properties.

Starting as DETAILS Auto/Marine Cleaning & Protecting, the company has grown to focus attention on other aspects of the commercial soft washing industry.

Britewash, our drive thru truck wash service, is located at our Kittery Maine facility. Details proprietor Eric Clark affirms the company’s mission: “We are committed to provide consistent quality and always perform at the highest level, being aware of the newest innovations and our surrounding environment. We pride ourselves on our high standards for the residential and commercial SoftWash services we provide for our customers.”

Safety Is Our #1 Priority

Our trained and certified personnel can safely complete a project using ladders, roof hooks, ropes, life lines, body harnesses, and aerial boom lifts when needed. An inexperienced person should never attempt this. It takes many years of on-the-job practice to completely master the safety issues of climbing on a roof or residence. We proudly reward our employees with an internal merit system for achieving consistent safety compliance.

We Protect the Environment

Details Soft Wash Service is environmentally friendly by using VacuBoom Wash Water Recovery systems for our mobile soft washing services.

The VacuBoom Wash Water Recovery systems are connected to our gas powered industrial vacuums mounted in each wash truck. When the wet vac system is turned on and connected to the placed VacuBoom, the boom tightly seals itself to the surface to collect the wash water. While the wash water is collecting, the vacuum draws the effluent through small port openings in the boom, and then places the wash water into our truck mounted holding tanks.

This procedure works very well on hard surfaces. When connected to the proper vacuum unit providing a large amount of lift, there is no better method of wash water collection.
